  1. a helpful article thanks. Although, have you thought of just getting a travel money card which doesn’t have a usage charge e.g. travelex, royal mail and transferring money to that and using it for any transactions?

    • I’m glad it was useful! I hadn’t looked into those, but Travelex in particular looks good as well! However, I’m a bit of a traditionalist, and as both options (N & P and the Royal Mail/ Travelex) require a similar amount of effort, I have to say I’d prefer to put my trust in a building society. But that’s just a personal preference, of course!
